Cox2M, a leading provider of commercial IoT solutions headquartered in Atlanta, GA, partnered with HatchWorks AI to develop the Kayo AI Assistant for their fleet management customers.

The assistant provides real-time trip analysis and fleet metrics through HatchWorks AI's RAG Accelerator, allowing fleet managers to use natural language for easy and accurate access to complex data across a wide range of use cases.

The Challenge

Every new report was a development cycle

Cox2M wanted to offer its customers real-time fleet insights and metrics within their existing IoT solution. As their customer base grew, the development of real-time data reports became increasingly complex and resource-intensive.

Aggregating and presenting vast amounts of fleet data, from mileage and hard braking to trip start and end times, in a user-friendly format was the challenge Cox2M sought to address with the Kayo AI Assistant.

    HatchWorks AI designed and developed the Kayo AI Assistant, which leverages Retrieval Augmented Generation to connect a large language model to Cox2M's fleet data securely, so users ask questions of their data through natural language and get real-time, accurate responses.

    The teams collaborated on infrastructure, architecture, and UI/UX, producing a scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solution across cloud platforms like Google Cloud and Vertex AI.
