Warning: Fraudulent Job Offers Impersonating HatchWorks AI
HatchWorks AI has been made aware of recruitment scams in which bad actors use our company name, brand, and the identities of our employees without authorization to deceive job seekers. These scams have been reported on Reddit, Telegram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and other platforms. If you have been contacted by someone claiming to offer you a job at HatchWorks AI, please read this page carefully before responding.
What HatchWorks AI Will Never Do
Our recruiting process will never involve any of the following. If you experience any of these, you are not speaking with HatchWorks AI.
- NEVER Ask you for payment of any kind β not for training materials, equipment, software licenses, background checks, onboarding fees, or any other reason
- NEVER Charge you for a job interview or require a deposit to secure a position
- NEVER Request your bank account details, credit card information, or wire transfers at any stage of the hiring process
- NEVER Conduct official recruitment exclusively through Telegram, WhatsApp, or personal social media accounts
- NEVER Send job offers from personal Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, or any non-HatchWorks email address
- NEVER Pressure you to make fast decisions or accept offers without a formal interview process
Absolute rule: HatchWorks AI will never, under any circumstance, request money from a candidate at any point in the recruitment or interview process. If anyone asks you for payment while claiming to represent us, it is a scam. Do not pay. Do not engage.
Red Flags to Watch For
Be alert if the person contacting you does any of the following:
- Reaches out unsolicited via Telegram, Reddit DMs, WhatsApp, or Instagram with a job offer
- Uses an email address that is not @hatchworks.com (e.g. hatchworks.ai@gmail.com or hatchworks-hr@outlook.com)
- Offers unusually high salaries or remote positions with minimal requirements
- Skips a formal interview process or conducts interviews only via chat
- Requests personal financial information or government ID early in the process
- Asks you to purchase equipment, software, or gift cards and promises reimbursement later
- Uses urgency tactics β telling you the offer expires soon or that you must act immediately
- Provides a contract or offer letter before any real interview has taken place

If you receive a suspicious communication claiming to be from HatchWorks AI, please take the following steps:
- Do not respond, send money, or share any personal or financial information
- Do not click any links or download any files sent by the suspicious contact
- Report the communication to the platform where it occurred (Reddit, Telegram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- If you have already sent money or shared financial details, contact your bank immediately
- Report the incident to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov or your local consumer protection authority
