Anchor Healthcare is revolutionizing patient education with AI-powered video libraries tailored for medical specialties. Their goal? Bridge the communication gap between doctors and patients—at scale. With HatchWorks AI, they built and launched an AI-powered platform that enables physicians to deliver consistent, understandable medical content using custom digital avatars and explainer videos.

The Challenge

Most patients forget or misunderstand what their doctor tells them.

Physicians, meanwhile, are overwhelmed, repeating complex concepts in short visits with little time for deeper engagement.

Anchor needed a scalable solution that would:

  • Agile Co-Creation HatchWorks AI joined forces with Anchor’s hybrid team in an agile sprint process—collaborating daily, selecting best-of-breed AI point solutions, and validating each integration through proof of concept.
  • Stitching the EcosystemRather than building custom AI from scratch, the team stitched together avatar platforms, video generators, and cloud services into a seamless engine, integrated via APIs and hosted on GCP.
  • Building the Engine HatchWorks AI delivered the production-ready AI engine that generates custom physician avatars to explain hundreds of conditions and their associated aftercare.
  • Launching the MVP The MVP launched with 282 explainer videos, initially focused on pain medicine. The platform is now used daily by Dr. Robert Moghim, a practicing anesthesiologist and co-founder of Anchor Healthcare, and is capable of generating hundreds—if not thousands—of videos across multiple specialties.

The Outcome​

  • Anchor’s MVP is live, used by real patients and doctors.
  • Once configured, the system can generate 80 custom videos/hour per physician.
  • An entire custom video library for a new doctor can be created in under a day.
