Since its inception, HatchWorks has focused on maintaining a culture that supports and motivates employees to do their very best work every day. This includes:

  • Hiring skilled employees who also embody personal traits including passion, tenacity, selflessness, intuition, creativity and curiosity
  • Providing benefits beyond the “traditional”—including funding new inventions, early equity opportunities, additional compensation for client success, remote work options, team events, and providing flexible time off
  • Embracing a commitment to diversity and inclusion, and recognizing the value of different experiences and perspectives
  • Offering opportunities to give back to the community through the company’s philanthropic Hatch Futures program, and providing days off work for volunteering

As a result of the pandemic, HatchWorks has also adopted a more flexible working model for employees, tailoring it to facilitate even greater collaboration by creating safer gathering spots for project teams and meetings. This new model also provides individual teams the autonomy to define how and where they work—whether remotely, or in person during specific milestones of a project.

“At HatchWorks, we believe that the happier the team, the stronger and more innovative the output, so we make a concentrated effort every day to ensure our employees feel they are appreciated, supported and fulfilled,” says Brandon Powell, CEO of HatchWorks. “Being recognized as a Best Place to Work two years in a row is testament that we are doing the right things for our workforce. We are very proud to receive this award and look forward to continuing making investments in our employees’ success as we grow the company.”
